We had such an awesome Saturday this last week, we just had to blog about it. The day started out with Reuben cleaning and organizing our storage space under the stairs. It's amazing how much room you really have if it's used right. Clarissa had her first pedicure party THIS year, now that it's finally warmed up more. While Clarissa was doing nails, Reuben went and got the alignment;among some other things done on her car. After the pedicure party Clarissa's did her sisters hair and make-up for her prom that night (Reuben said it looked fantastic!) After the crowd was gone, we did a bunch of yard work, raking gravel... yes gravel... out of the grass, swept the driveway, rinsed down the cars... we should be charging the landlords for making this place look so much better! :)
We took a break from yard work and had fun playing with bubbles in the front yard. Corben was thrilled to be outside and had a BLAST playing with bubbles!
Last, but certainly not least, we ushered in the new Spring with a BBQ! We haven't been able to do any BBQs recently, so this was a real treat! We had hamburgers that were seasoned oh so nicely and cheese bratwursts the Corben really enjoyed. (Thanks Mum Perry for the brats!)
IT was just was one of those perfect days that made you feel like you've accomplished a lot, and yet at the same time, you have just simply enjoyed the day.
